Welcome to Household Staffing International!

Since 1974, it has been our honor and privilege to assist you with your search for a new household staffing position.   We are humbled with the fact that you have allowed us to get to know you (and to learn more about what makes you, YOU!), as well as assisting you in finding a new household staffing position.

Throughout the years, we have assisted our candidates in finding meaningful and professional positions within the following roles: housekeeper, chef, domestic couple, houseman, butler, personal assistant, nanny, babynurse, companion, estate and house manager, groundsman, chauffeur and body guard.  We also assist with corporate staff, including: office matron, corporate butler, security, as well as motor yacht and airplane personnel.

While not every introduction we make leads to a “marriage made in heaven”, we will fight until you are happy to get you as close to the perfect match as possible.  You are never pressured into accepting a position — or even an interview, for that matter.  We strive to support you and are always there for you before, during and long after the introduction is made.

Our philosophy and winning formula is based around honesty, transparency and respect.  We credit this with the fact that the majority of our new candidates are recommended to us by gainfully employed domestic staffers who have been successfully placed by us in the past.

Honesty

The interview process begins with a face-to-face interview where we can professionally determine your skill sets, experience, strengths and challenges, as well as understanding the kind of situation where you will succeed.  This is also a chance for us to learn more about you as a person and what’s not on your resume.  This is your opportunity to pick our “professional brains” and to ask questions about us, the market, our devotion to our applicants, and whether you would like to work together.  We can’t always work with everyone who applies, but we will always tell you our thoughts about your candidacy.  If we determine that we can’t work together, we will offer any advice to help you.

Transparency

Once we have determined that we will be working together, we will keep you informed of every event that happens during your search.  Any and all of the processes and communication will be conveyed to you:  from when we first send your resume to a family/corporation (with its individually tailored overview), to setting up an interview, to a reference request, and finally assisting with a start date and employment agreement.  We are always available to continue our communication and are often asked about employment challenges such as how to deal with situations like overtime, vacation, bonuses, etc.

Respect
