Case Study:

Upper East Side Family Changes Staff to Meet Their Changing Needs

Upper East Side family was unhappy with the lack of cleanliness and organization in their home when they returned each day which created aggravation and unnecessary stress.

Client Background:

Upscale family of three living between the city and Connecticut

The Challenge:

Family was unhappy with the lack of cleanliness and organization in their home when they returned each day which created aggravation and unnecessary stress. The two main factors were first, selecting the wrong staff and secondly, failing to see that that they needed Supplemental, part time workers. HSI was called.

The Approach:

HSI learned that the clients had concentrated on selecting a person who would provide quality child care but lacked the skills necessary to keep the home immaculate and well organized. They also overlooked the need for supplemental help for their apartment on a daily basis. We commended them for their concern for their 5 year old daughter’s wellbeing and helped the clients to better comprehend the needs and specific requirements for this position.

The Result:

By completely identifying the key needs of this family, HSI was able to place a nanny/ housekeeper who were able to do the necessary cleaning and housekeeping with the assistance of part time help who were able to supply quality childcare when she was cleaning and also meticulous housekeeping to handle all parts of their large home. The family is happy with the results and we hope to be able to render similar assistance to both their friends and other members of the family.
